Who are we?

Hairundecided is a natural hair styling brand that caters to your hair needs from protective styling to our handmade Shower Bonnéts. We aim to bring your creative hair visions to life while enhancing your hair care regimen with our beautiful waterproof Bonnéts.

HairUndecided started off as a hobby for me. I have been experimenting and styling my own hair since the age of 13, and eventually garnered the confidence to style the crown of others in college. After years of practicing on willing friends and family, the concept for Hairundecided was born in January 2017. Scheduled for a photoshoot with a former coworker, I did not have a chance to finish my hair in time, but decided to go along with the shoot anyway after my mother and a friend confidently cosigned the look. The initial plan for the look was braids. Then as time was running out, I started to twist the ends then wrapped some of the hair to create faux locs. However, time flew, and my hair ended up consisting of a variety of colors and textures with locs, braids and twists (see pictures below). Initially apprehensive about the look, I eventually embraced it, had a successful shoot, and named the style "HairUndecided" for nothing else but my indecisiveness. The name stuck, and here we are over 7 years later.

As the natural hair care market continues to evolve, so does HairUndecided. My goal is to continue learning and working on my knowledge, skills and creativity, so that I can provide the best products, and the most joyful and satisfying experiences for my clients and customers. I am beyond grateful for everyone I have crossed paths with on this journey; those that have inspired me, blessed me, dropped gems, criticized me, encouraged me and allowed me to experiment in their hair. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you. Your Class FAQ Guide

Where is the class located and is there parking?

This class is taught at 325 Flatbush avenue, Brooklyn NY, 11217 on Sundays, and at a different venue for the weekday class (you will be notified prior to your class). There is street parking available,.

Do I have to bring anything with me to class?

Everything is provided for your learning success in the class.

What is the duration of the class?

This class is 2 hours long.

What happens if I miss my class?

Unfortunately, classes are non refundable and nontransferable. Students may be able to reschedule to a class within 30 days (situation dependent) if there is an available slot for an upcoming class. However, this is not guaranteed. Students are welcomed to register for a future class however.

⁠Can I bring a model to practice on?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a model if you would prefer not to use a mannequin.

Do you offer advanced classes?

Yes. If there is a skill you would like to learn that is not offered in our beginner's braiding class, please submit an inquiry for a one on on class to hairundecided@gmail.com
